Do you need to wait for your contract renewal date to get energy quotes?
UK energy suppliers typically offer business energy prices up to a year before renewal. SMEs can test the market and compare commercial electricity and gas prices at any point, allowing greater control and flexibility in energy management.
Will I pay a setup fee for procurement services?
No. We only charge an agreed fee based on your consumption band and contract duration, and only after you accept a new supplier offer.

Can I see all business energy prices?
Yes! Our online energy dashboard shows all real-time offers, contract durations, and any one-time prices, ensuring full transparency for SMEs and business owners choosing new commercial energy providers.
What is a limited-time supplier offer?
During an auction, energy providers can send one-off, time-limited bids. For example, a commercial electricity supplier might offer a special price to beat competitors, but the offer expires if not accepted by the stated deadline.
When do I pay for energybids service?
Our services are free until a contract is secured. Fees apply only after your business chooses the preferred supplier offer.
What happens after I accept a business energy deal through energybid?
After you accept an offer, you’ll complete a simple form with billing, VAT, and company information for the supplier, who then sends an electronic contract and direct debit mandate to finalise the arrangement.
If my business has multiple meters, will I need to register each one?
No – at energybid we like to make things as simple as possible for business owners, so all you need to do is register your details once. You can either upload a PDF with a copy of an invoice for all your meters in one PDF file, or alternatively, you can email separate invoices to us. We will then set everything up for you in your personal dashboard.
